Debo Fagbami

Debo Fagbami is the Chief Operating Officer of Xenergi Limited, an African energy infrastructure and natural gas development company delivering integrated solutions across the natural gas value chain. He co-authored the methane abatement paper that was adjudged the WGC2025 Regional (Africa) Gas Award Paper Winner, recognising the company's contribution to gas development and innovation in Africa.

He has a thirty-year career in the oil and gas industry, spanning several disciplines and specialties, including wireline logging and perforating, formation evaluation, reservoir monitoring services, production testing operations, fast-track marginal field development, scalable gas conversion plants, and project management.

Debo holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, a Masters degree in Energy Economics, Policy and Management from the Emerald Energy Institute of the University of Port Harcourt as well as an MBA from Henley Business School, University of Reading, United Kingdom.

He is a past Chairman of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Nigeria Council and served on the Council of the Nigerian Gas Association (NGA) as Director of Communications from 2016 to 2018.

He is a Board Director of Siri Global, operator of the Ke Marginal Field and also a non executive director at Grayson’s Trust Management Services Ltd.
