Ralph Gbobo

Ralph Gbobo serves as the Managing Director of Shell Nigeria Gas Limited, where he leads strategic initiatives to expand domestic gas utilisation and strengthen Nigeria's gas-to-energy value chain. With over 22 years of experience at Shell, he brings deep expertise across the oil and gas value chain, spanning both upstream and downstream operations.

Throughout his career, Ralph has held diverse roles, from supporting crude and product supply and trading to managing commercial ventures and representing Shell in non-operated assets. His early experience with indigenous oil companies, including the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation's Warri Refining and Petrochemicals Company, laid a strong foundation for his leadership in the energy sector.

A passionate advocate for talent development and inclusion, Ralph is committed to building diverse, high-performing teams focused on bridging Nigeria's energy gap. His strategic vision continues to drive Shell Nigeria Gas's mission to deliver sustainable energy solutions that support national economic growth.

He holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA. Outside of work, Ralph is a proud father of four who enjoys fishing, sailing and travelling.
