Eunice Alasa is the Deputy Managing Partner at KENNA. She advises clients across the firm's Dispute Resolution and Corporate/Commercial practice areas. She is recognised for her ability to combine strategic insight with technical precision in handling complex civil and commercial litigation, representing clients in high-stakes disputes that often involve intricate factual and legal issues.
In her corporate advisory practice, Eunice advises businesses on sophisticated commercial transactions, including project finance, corporate restructuring, intellectual property strategy, and regulatory compliance. Her approach integrates legal soundness with commercial pragmatism, helping clients align operational decisions with both regulatory requirements and strategic business objectives.
Her representative experience includes acting as Defence Counsel for a major International Oil Company in litigation concerning an oil spill, managing complex environmental law and corporate defence issues, and providing strategic legal advice to an IOC on navigating the legal and regulatory framework under the Petroleum Industry Act, 2021. She has advised a telecommunications company on compliance with key financial regulations, advised on the establishment of a leading Payment Service Bank in Nigeria including drafting and reviewing its legal and governance documentation, counselled a public company on critical corporate governance issues, and provided intellectual property advisory services to multiple companies across trademark and patent registration, protection and enforcement.
Eunice holds a B.L from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos, and an LL.B (Honours) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators. Her practice areas cover Corporate & Commercial Law, Intellectual Property, Dispute Resolution & ADR, and Energy & Natural Resources.
